Ancient Free & Accepted Masons Wicomico Lodge # 91
170 Years of Brotherly Love,
Relief, & Truth
Wicomico Lodge #91 is located at 110 N. Division St in Downtown Salisbury. This address was also formerly the location of Centennial Lodge #221, and is currently home to the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, York Rite, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Salisbury Chapter of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.
Wicomico Lodge #91 of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons was founded in 1848. There were so many members in 1948 that a second Lodge was formed, Centennial Lodge #221, which has since relocated.
We call ourselves the Blue Lodge and are the “working” Lodge. You may be more familiar with the Shriners, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Grotto, York Rite or Scottish Rite. The Shriners, in particular, are well-known for their free children's hospitals. All affiliated Masonic bodies support particular charities and organizations. You must be a Mason before you can join one of these groups.
Other affiliated groups include the Order of the Eastern Star, which is co-ed. Job’s Daughters is an organization for young women related to a Mason. We also sponsor Rainbow Girls for young women and DeMolay for young men. These latter two groups do not require the members to have a relative in Masonry.
